Bowlin Takes 3rd at eNASCAR Championship

On October 1, the four best drivers from the 2024 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season competed at Homestead Miami Speedway for a $100,000 prize pool and the prestigious Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cup, live on stage at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte.

Graham Bowlin entered the championship as the fourth-ranked driver, competing against 2023 champion Steven Wilson, Parker White, and Bobby Zalenski. All four qualified for the championship through months of intense playoff racing. Despite fierce competition, Bowlin placed 3rd overall in the season, taking home an impressive $25,000 in prize money.

His teammate, Wyatt Tinsley, finished the season ranked 21st, contributing to the Pioneers’ overall team standing. As a team, the Pioneers finished 6th among the top 20 teams competing this season, a huge achievement for the team.

Kansas Speedway Rocket League Tournament Recap

On September 29, the Pioneers and LEVELUP Arena brought esports to the Kansas Speedway, hosting a $2,000 Rocket League tournament presented by the Army National Guard. The event drew in hundreds of fans who came to witness the action and take part in a variety of exciting activities.

Alongside the Rocket League tournament, World of Racing featured an impressive haptic SIM rig that offered fans a fully immersive virtual racing experience. A SIM rig is a high-tech setup designed to mimic the sensation of real-world racing, with motion feedback and realistic controls that put players in the driver’s seat, providing an unparalleled level of realism. It was a huge hit with attendees, giving fans a unique opportunity to feel what it’s like to race in a professional environment.

In addition to the SIM rig experience, attendees also had the chance to enter exciting eNASCAR giveaways, which included Logitech shifters and free iRacing cards, perfect for any aspiring virtual racer. A free-play gaming station featuring Fortnite Rocket League racing allowed fans to dive into casual gameplay while connecting esports and traditional sports in new ways.

The event created a truly fluid experience, seamlessly blending the worlds of Rocket League, NASCAR, SIM racing, and gaming. NASCAR's growing involvement in esports stood out as a key highlight, with its integration into Fortnite and sponsorship of Rocket League, showcasing the evolving connection between traditional sports and the esports world.

We’re excited about this event's success and look forward to future collaborations with NASCAR and the potential to create more groundbreaking experiences that unite fans of both traditional and digital sports.

Off the Couch Nebraska Furniture Mart Tournament Recap

Off the Couch took place on October 5 at the Kansas City Nebraska Furniture Mart, hosted by the Pioneers and LEVELUP Arena, and presented by the Army National Guard. The event was a huge success, with hundreds of attendees enjoying competitive gaming, open play stations, and exciting giveaways. The highlight of the day was the 3v3 Rocket League Tournament, where Columbia College claimed victory, securing the top prize from the $3,000 prize pool. With the addition of College Football 24 tournaments, open gaming stations, and giveaways for a $150 Nebraska Furniture Mart Gift card and a copy of College Football 25, Off the Couch provided an unforgettable experience for all.

We’re thrilled with the incredible turnout and look forward to hosting more exciting gaming events. Stay tuned for more opportunities to compete, play, and connect!
