March is an exciting time for the Pioneers. Stateside, the Pioneers participated in our first Planet Comicon, bringing the Stateline Showdown Series to thousands of attendees. Our iRacing pros also had a strong performance at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Expanding internationally, the QuikTrip Pioneers Rocket League team is gearing up for RLCS in Copenhagen, Denmark, where the top 16 global teams will compete. Planet Comicon Kansas City witnessed an extraordinary spectacle as the Pioneers lit up the event by bringing an unparalleled blend of gaming excitement and community engagement. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the convention, the Pioneers left an unforgettable mark with dynamic activities and tournaments, all part of the Stateline Showdown Series sponsored by the Army National Guard and hosted by the Pioneers and LEVELUP Arena.
With over 83,000 visitors flocking to the event on Saturday alone, Planet Comicon buzzed with energy and excitement, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration. The presence of the Pioneers added an extra layer of excitement to the festivities, leaving attendees and fans alike with cherished memories.
The weekend kicked off with a bang as the Pioneers hosted a Smash Ultimate competition, drawing in participants from all corners of the convention. Gaming enthusiasts showcased their skills and battled it out for supremacy, adding to the electrifying atmosphere of the event. A special shout out to Wisdom, who won the tournament and took home an impressive trophy.
In addition to the planned competitions, attendees were treated to an array of gaming delights. From intense battles in Mario Kart, Tekken, and Street Fighter to friendly competitions in Mario Golf and Super Smash Bros, there was no shortage of excitement throughout the day.
Sunday marked the pinnacle of excitement with the Rocket League competition, where the University of Kansas Rocket League team emerged triumphant, capturing the hearts of fans with their stellar performance.

QuikTrip Pioneers Excitement Builds for RLCS Major in Copenhagen
Following their impressive performance in the Oceania Open Qualifier 3, the QuikTrip Pioneers are gearing up for an exhilarating showdown at the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Major in Copenhagen, Denmark. Scheduled to take place between March 28 and March 31, RLCS promises to be a thrilling event, with the QuikTrip Pioneers among the top 16 global teams competing for a remarkable $255,000 prize pool.
The tournament format is set to ignite intense competition, with the Swiss Stage kicking off the action from March 28-30. In this stage, 16 teams will battle it out in a best-of-5 format, with the top 8 teams advancing to the Playoffs. The Playoffs, scheduled for March 30-31, will feature a Single Elimination Bracket, where all matches will be contested in a best-of-7 format, promising high-stakes clashes and nail-biting moments.
As the QuikTrip Pioneers prepare to embark on this thrilling journey, their first match awaits against G2 Esports, the #1 seed Rocket League team in North America. iRacing x Atlanta Motor Speedway
Wyatt Tinsley and Graham Bowlin, the Pioneers eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series drivers, placed 11th and 27th on March 12 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. So far, Tinsley is ranked 4th, and Bowlin is ranked 30th among the top 40 iRacing drivers in this season's competition. Their combined rank puts the Pioneers in 6th place of the 20 teams competing this season.
