Community Updates: QuikTrip Pioneers Take Top 14 on RLCS Global Stage

April is starting strong for the Pioneers. Our Rocket League team competed in Copenhagen, Denmark, at RLCS as one of 16 top global teams, and our iRacing pros took on the Richmond Raceway. At home, the Pioneers are preparing for the next Stateline Showdown Series tournament on April 20. Below are the Pioneers' recent highlights since the last newsletter:

QuikTrip Pioneers Take Top 14 on RLCS Global Stage

The QuikTrip Pioneers embarked on a monumental journey to the RLCS Major 1 in Copenhagen, Denmark, where they battled it out among the top 16 global Rocket League teams. The tournament kicked off with the Swiss stage competition between March 28-29, featuring intense matches contested in a best-of-5 format. In the opening rounds, the Pioneers faced formidable opponents, G2 Stride and fellow Australian team PWR, unfortunately falling short with 0-3 losses in both encounters.

Undeterred by the setbacks, the Pioneers rallied in Round 3, facing Elevate and securing a crucial 3-1 victory to keep their hopes alive. However, their resilience was tested once again in Round 4 as they clashed against Complexity Gaming, ultimately succumbing to a 0-3 defeat. With the loss against Complexity Gaming, the Pioneers' journey in the RLCS Major 1 came to an end.

Although the road to glory may have concluded for now, the QuikTrip Pioneers remain steadfast in their commitment to excellence. With their sights set on future endeavors, the team will continue to train rigorously, determined to secure a spot in the upcoming RLCS Major 2 in London this June.

As the dust settles on their inaugural RLCS Major experience, the QuikTrip Pioneers express their gratitude to fans for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout the tournament. iRacing x Richmond Raceway 

Wyatt Tinsley and Graham Bowlin, the Pioneers eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series drivers, placed 36th and 29th on March 12 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. So far, Tinsley is ranked 14th, and Bowlin is ranked 30th among the top 40 iRacing drivers in this season's competition. Their combined rank puts the Pioneers in 13th place of the 20 teams competing this season.
